Sympathy's Bookshelf #4

Hi, everyone. I apologize for the late ass snippet of "Sympathy's Bookshelf" as I've been having trouble staying focused enough to sit down and read with my upcoming trip. My little 5-day vacation to Texas is in a little under a week now, and I've been doing what I can to prepare. This will be my first time going this far away from home, making me a bit nervous. Over the weekend, I went up to Connecticut with my brother for some sister-brother bonding time at The Wicked Big Meet, which was a huge Subaru event going on. I had a lot of fun, and, in the process, got extremely sunburned (no regrets here).

With that said, my reviews and reading have been on and off, mostly delayed. I kind of felt bad for neglecting my blog, so I wanted to do what I could. In fact, I didn't really expect to finish From a Distant Star today, but it was good. As a new member of NetGalley, I wanted to provide reviews for requested books as quickly as possible to get up my little portfolio. So, I apologize for not posting a review of an already-finished book.
